Tone Poem
“reflections on willow pond”
Note: A visual and aural meditation on a single late Spring morning at Mount Auburn Cemetery’s Willow Pond.
Artist Statement
July 4th, 2016
Sun reflects off ripples
On the pond
Birds court in the distance
Bugs flit over the water
A distant disco party
Weeping Willows sweep
the surface
Flowers and grasses dance
in the breeze
At the end
a surprise
